Hockessin Art Show

 Day in the life of a working artist:

This Fri-Sun I'll be participating in the Hockessin Art Show and Sale at Hockessin Memorial Hall in Delaware. So yesterday I packed the car with my booth display and artwork, then today I drove about an hour to Hockessin. Then unpacked and set up the booth (setting up panels, lights, art, labels). I work solo, but some artists have helpers. Setting up the whole booth usually takes about 3.5 hours, which includes time for photos of the booth and usually a quick snack / drink break. Then I drove 1.5 hours home (rush  hour traffic was starting). I hope to see you at the show!

The Hockessin Art Show & Sale features 27 regional fine art and fine craft artists on Feb. 27, 28, and March 1 at Hockessin Memorial Hall at 610 Yorklyn Rd in Delaware.  25% of sales go to the Hockessin Fire Company.
