February is HOT for ART!Snow might be in the forecast (maybe!) but this month is blazing HOT! February is not only Valentine’s month but it’s also full of some really wonderful art shows. The next few months for me are going to be really busy so I’ve been putting in overtime at the studio making lots of new works just for you. Malvern Retreat House Art ShowFEBRUARY 2 - 6 Art Show at the Malvern Retreat House, 315 S Warren Ave, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Complimentary Wine and Cheese Reception on February 3rd, from 4–8 pm. I have four main artworks as well as over 15 miniature paintings in this fantastic annual art show featuring over 100 juried artists in a variety of mediums. This is a cash and carry show, meaning artworks are sold off the walls as people purchase them so arrive earlier for best selection. RSVP to my personal facebook event page. Solo Show at Darlington Arts CenterFEBRUARY 12 - ARTIST RECEPTION Show Runs through Feb. 19 at Darlington Arts Center, 977 Shavertown Road, Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. Artist Reception is February 12, 6:30 PM. Receptions are held from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Regular Hours: The gallery is open for viewing during regular business hours (M-F 9am-9pm, Sat. 9am-4pm). I have 35 artworks that I created within the past two years at this huge solo art show. The Darlington Arts Center is a non-profit whose mission is to build community by providing art for everyone. Hockessin Art FestivalFEBRUARY 25 - 27 Larry Anderson Memorial Hockessin Art Festival, Hockessin Memorial Hall located at Hockessin Fire Hall, 610 Yorklyn Rd, Hockessin, Delaware. Hours: Friday, 5-8 PM; Saturday, 10- 5 PM; Sunday, 10-4 PM. This is a new show for me this year, and I am honored to asked to participate in such a prestigious event. This is a highly curated festival with a select number of artists representing a wide variety of mediums. Thirty percent of all sales benefits the historic Wilmington and Western Railroad. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
