February is HOT for ART! Snow might be in the forecast (maybe!) but this month is blazing HOT! February is not only Valentine’s month but it’s also full of some really wonderful art shows. The next few months for me are going to be really busy so I’ve been putting in overtime at the studio making lots of new works just for you. Come on out to a show and check them out, or visit my website and visit virtually if you can’t make it out in person.

February Art Shows

THIS WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY!

Malvern Retreat House Art Show FEBRUARY 2 - 6 Art Show at the Malvern Retreat House, 315 S Warren Ave, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Complimentary Wine and Cheese Reception on February 3rd, from 4–8 pm. I have four main artworks as well as over 15 miniature paintings in this fantastic annual art show featuring over 100 juried artists in a variety of mediums. This is a cash and carry show, meaning artworks are sold off the walls as people purchase them so arrive earlier for best selection. RSVP to my personal facebook event page. Solo Show at Darlington Arts Center FEBRUARY 12 - ARTIST RECEPTION Show Runs through Feb. 19 at Darlington Arts Center, 977 Shavertown Road, Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. Artist Reception is February 12, 6:30 PM. Receptions are held from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Regular Hours: The gallery is open for viewing during regular business hours (M-F 9am-9pm, Sat. 9am-4pm). I have 35 artworks that I created within the past two years at this huge solo art show. The Darlington Arts Center is a non-profit whose mission is to build community by providing art for everyone. All work will be for sale through the school with a percentage of proceeds going to the Center. Hockessin Art Festival FEBRUARY 25 - 27 Larry Anderson Memorial Hockessin Art Festival, Hockessin Memorial Hall located at Hockessin Fire Hall, 610 Yorklyn Rd, Hockessin, Delaware. Hours: Friday, 5-8 PM; Saturday, 10- 5 PM; Sunday, 10-4 PM. This is a new show for me this year, and I am honored to asked to participate in such a prestigious event. This is a highly curated festival with a select number of artists representing a wide variety of mediums. Thirty percent of all sales benefits the historic Wilmington and Western Railroad.

“From Feather to Flame and Birth to Bloom”, 40 x 30 inches, ink and acrylic on wood panel.

Save the Dates This is my current spring art show schedule, though I may be adding on one more show. As always, visit my Events page on my website for details as the show dates get closer. I will be adding on to my schedule as shows are confirmed. April 23 - May 15, 2022 | Historic Yellow Springs Art Show, Lincoln Building, 1685 Art School Road, Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Details TBA. April 30 - May 1, 2022 | Covered Bridge Artisans Spring Studio Tour, Sergeantsville Firehouse Event Center, 761 Sergeantsville Road, Sergeantsville, New Jersey. Hours: 10 am - 5 pm. Details TBA. May 14-15, 2022 | Chester County Studio Tour. Lynnette is at a new location this year! Gillian Pokalo Studio at 504 W Pothouse Rd, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Hours: Saturday 10-6 PM & Sunday 11-5 PM. Along with host artist Gillian Pokalo (mixed media), Lynnette will be showing with guest artists Anna Boothe (glass) and Marcia Reiver (ceramics).
