This unique and intimate opportunity creates a free, unlimited access to the artists, and a clearer understanding of our stories and creative processes. This is Ivystone's third year participating in the annual tour and it's always been a wonderful time. We hope you will join us. In addition to the artwork by our tour artists Justin Smith, Lynnette Shelley and Abby McClure, we will have complimentary refreshments and art demos throughout the weekend. Meet artists Justin Smith, Abby McClure and Lynnette Shelley and view their work on the upcoming studio tour (see below). Get a start on the crowds for the Chester County Studio Tour in a relaxed atmosphere. MAY 18-19, 2019 Chester County Studio Tour Ivystone Studio is tour stop #10 on the annual Chester County Studio Tour. We are featuring artists Justin Smith, Abby McClure and Lynnette Shelley. Justin will also be doing glass blowing demonstrations throughout the weekend, while Lynnette and Abby will be showing and discussing some of their newest creations. All work is for sale. Tour Hours:  Sat, May 18. 10 AM to 6 PM; Sun, May 19. 11 AM to 5 PM FREE and open to the public. County Collectors - $75 In addition to their work for sale, each artist will also have one unique "County Collector" priced at $75 for the duration of the tour only. First come, first served. County Collectors are miniature works of art that are on uniform 6x6 inch hardboard panels. For painters these come with a black floater frame, wired and ready to hang, and for 3D art the art comes on a black 6x6 inch base, ready for display. View images of her banners here, here, here, here and here.   Through June 2019 Lynnette’s artwork “Sacred Hare” is one of 18 artworks selected for the Lamp Post Banner Project by the West Chester Borough Public Arts Commission. As a part of this project, original art by regional artists will be printed on banners that will hang in downtown West Chester (at a central three-block stretch of High Street) for a year as a part of a public arts initiative. Read an article here or another article here.
