DETAILS
Sugarloaf Crafts Festival returns to Oaks just in time to kick off your holiday shopping. Put your shopping shoes on and join us Friday through Sunday, November 2nd through 3rd at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Sugarloaf features the work of more than 350 highly regarded artists all in one place. Enjoy meeting the artists and learning about their process. Find the most unique holiday gifts for everyone on your list. And, feel good knowing your holiday shopping is supporting small creative businesses.
You’ll find gifts for every taste. Choose from a large selection of fine leather and fabric bags, handcrafted jewelry and wearable art. For the home, you’ll find hundreds of decorative vases, bowls, fine art paintings and photography as well as fascinating sculptures created from clay, wood and metal.  If you have your own vision for an item, the artists are happy to create custom orders or help you to immortalize an event by incorporating a special memento into an artistic piece.
Get a glimpse into the workday of professional artists as you watch a glassblower, paper crafter, broom maker, jewelry maker, wood carver, metal spinner or iron forger turn raw material into a dazzling finished piece at any of the recurring live demonstrations during the festival. These creators truly love what they do and they’re happy to answer your questions about their work.
Seeing so much handmade work can make you want to jump into the role of maker yourself. At the Oaks show, people of all ages have the opportunity to do just that with a free painting workshop. Or if you’d rather take to the stage, grab a costume and create your own character with Middle Earth Studios live theatre for children and adults.
All in all, Sugarloaf is a feast for the artistic and culinary spirit. Purchase your tickets online and save 20%. There is abundant free onsite parking and each festival ticket is good for the entire weekend. If coming from out of town, check out these participating hotels for the Sugarloaf rate.
The show is conveniently located in in the northern Philadelphia suburbs. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is just minutes away from King of Prussia.
