Happy February Everyone!
As I type this the Pennsylvania region just had a narrow escape from a major winter snowstorm; we still have some beautiful snowfall happening, but not the two feet we had been led to believe we would be buried in. I don't mind the snow (within reason!) but it's true at this time of year the soul starts to crave a little bit of color when there is so much white, brown, and grey color schemes in nature. So if you are craving color, may I recommend checking out the local art scenes in your area, and if you can, come out to a few of my own shows. Details on several major shows are below.
500TH ARTWORK!
This past month I reached a major milestone in my art career by creating my 500th artwork since I quit my day job in August 2007. This milestone piece is called "Eden (Ring-Tailed Lemur)" and will be on display / sale at thePlastic Club's "Critters and Beasts" show which opens THIS SUNDAY in Philadelphia from 2-5 PM. In other news, myself and JAM Gallery owner Melanie Fisher were recently interviewed by a reporter about the Gallery's current Winter Exhibition. You can read the article here.
