Latest Artwork: In the Moon Rabbit's Garden
I just finished this piece the other day but it's already sold. I was going to possibly use it for an upcoming show but I'll have to make something else now (and fairly quickly!) ;)

Description: One of my favorite motifs, the hare and the moon symbol is an ancient one. In many cultures, hares are associated with the moon (we have the "man on the moon" in the West, whereas in many Eastern countries they have a "hare in the moon". ) In addition, there are a myriad of folktales on how the hare ended up on the moon. The hare in these stories is usually associated with sacrifice. In addition, the moon gazing hare is another popular motif (it was considered lucky to see a moon gazing hare). The rabbit or hare also symbolizes fertility and spring and is associated with the spring goddess (these tales later evolved into the more contemporary Easter bunny symbol).
