"Inception" was Inspired by medieval stone carvings of birds. Below is an example of a photograph I took of one such stone carving found at Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, PA. In my interpretation, the two birds represent duality - the male and the female principle, with the male on the right and the female on the left. Between them is a cosmic egg - or the source of the universe.
