It's been a while that I've posted an update from my band The Red Masque here, but we have some news. Here is a reposting of our recent newsletter.

The Red Masque vocalist Lynnette Shelley is currently working with an art rock band called Green Cathedral that is in need of a guitar player. October Gigs, New T-Shirts & New Free Music
It has been a busy summer for The Red Masque. We added guitarist Glenn Kuchenbeiser and violinist James Tunnicliffe into the band this past Spring and have been working on incorporating their sound into existing songs, as well as working on new material, and honing our signature sound. For those of you who have been following along on Facebook and Youtube we've included some behind the scenes videos of us in our rehearsal space working on material.
For those of you who are itching to see us live (just as we are itching to play out live again!), we are pleased to announce we are debuting the revamped Red Masque this October with a couple of shows (and we are also looking into booking some more shows for later this year, as well as a possible Spring 2015 mini tour, and a possible music video).

OCTOBER 18, 2014 | Strange Girls Festival at Eris Temple Arts, 602 S 52nd St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Strange Girls October Showcase: The Red Masque, Dental Dames, Feral Ponies, I Am A Tree. $5 - $10 suggested donation at the door. All Ages. This event is held at the DIY house venue of Temple Eris and is hosted and curated by local riot noise act Dental Dames. Strange Girls showcases unconventional musicians and performers from outside of the mainstream, each act with one or more members identified as female
