Latest Artwork: The Gold Bug

I am about to start working on a bunch of miniature paintings in the 6 x 6 inch size range but in the meantime, here is something slightly larger. This work is inspired by the Jewel Scarab Beetle (or Chrysina Resplendens), which looks like this, however, I took liberties with its form so it's not exactly representational. "The Gold-Bug" is also a cool short story by Poe, which if you have not read yet, you should.
