Historic Yellow Spring Art Show Opens Friday & Other Spring Art Shows

I have a ton of art shows going on right now, with a major show opening this Friday. The Yellow Springs Art Show is an annual group show that exhibits thousands of artworks in a 'salon style' atmosphere at the Lincoln Building in the historic village of Yellow Springs in Chester Springs, PA. On Friday, April 25,  is a ticket-only opening gala / early admission and then the show is free and open to the public starting Saturday, April 26. The show runs through May 11. Go to http://www.yellowsprings.org/artshow.html for more info on the event or to purchase opening gala tickets.

Below are some of the works I will be bringing to the show. Each artist is invited to bring four  medium to larger size works and up to eight 'miniatures'.  Please click to enlarge images.

New this year: As part of the new 'County Collectors' program, Lynnette and other artists on the tour will offer a 6 x 6 inch miniature artwork for sale for $75. Each artist will only have one "County Collector" art available so you need to get to the studio tour early to be the first to nab these mini collectibles. Lynnette's artwork is called, appropriately enough, "Early Bird" and you can see an image of it below. It is mixed media on hardboard and comes with a black frame. To see more view of this painting, or for more information, please read Lynnette's blog post on the subject.  After the Chester County Studio Tour is over, the artwork will be for sale for $115, so for those who want the artwork, it pays to be the 'early bird' at the studio tour.
