Latest Artwork: Sun Raven

I made a companion piece to my artwork "Raven in Red" (see previous post), also in acrylic on 12 x 12 inch black gessoed, gallery-wrap canvas. The raven is associated with bringing the light to the world in several folktales in different cultures so I thought adding a sun image would be appropriate.

I still need to give another couple coats of gold to the piece to make them it really shine, as well as add some varnish to the piece.
