Work in Progress - Crocodile (Needs a Name)

I started a new artwork yesterday, which still needs a name. I'm considering calling it "The Watering Hole" though, because to me it looks like the crocodile and the cranes are all gossiping together. This piece measures 20 x 26 inches. Photos below. Please click on each picture to enlarge.

The initial pencil sketch. I increased the contrast on this photo to show the pencil lines better.

The inked in "cartoon" for me to colorize.

I added crosshatching with an exacto knife into the layer of oil pastels and then added scale details into the croc's skin.
