“The Art of Storytelling” opens Saturday at Peninsula Gallery (Lewes, DE)February 10 - March 30, 2024 "The Art of Storytelling", Invitational group art show at Peninsula Gallery, 520 East Savannah Road, Lewes, Delaware. Opening Reception is February 10, 5-6:30 PM. Earlier this week, I dropped off eight artworks at Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, DE, for a 5-person invitational show that opens this Saturday, Feb. 10. It will be my first time showing at this amazing gallery in beautiful Lewes so I hope you can come out to support the show. Peninsula Gallery is one of the largest originals-only fine art galleries in Delaware and has bee in operation since 1996. Hockessin Art Festival is almost here! | ||||||||||||||||||||
February 23-25, 2024 Hockessin Memorial Hall, 610 Yorklyn Road, Hockessin, Delaware. Hours: Friday, 5-8 PM; Saturday, 10-5 PM; Sunday, 10-4 PM. Admission is $5 for adults, Free for children under 12. The Hockessin Art Festival is an annual fundraising effort to benefit the Wilmington & Western Railroad. More than 20 local artists will be displaying and selling limited edition prints, original watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, sculpture, fine jewelry, mosaics and more! 30% of all art sales go directly to supporting the Wilmington & Western. The Wilmington & Western is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. The income raised from the Art Festival supports train operations, restoration projects, track maintenance and much more. While attending the Art Festival, take a break from shopping by riding the Art Festival Express. These historic train will depart from outside the Art Festival, and the friendly train crew will take you on a 40-minute round-trip through the towns of Yorklyn and Ashland. | ||||||||||||||||||||
