Latest Artwork: Octopus Garden

I have a show coming up in January that, in addition to some larger works, I will need a bunch of smaller works, so I have been busy working on some. In addition, I made another gourd in my new art gourd series, however, as it's a Christmas present for someone, I don't want to post it publicly just yet. But I did just get a batch of three lovely and oddly shaped dried gourds in the mail today so I'll be making some more shortly. In the meantime, for those of you in the Malvern, PA, area, Gourd No. 1 (Running Bird) is at JAM Gallery. You can take it home for $135. Shipping is available. Back to the minis.
This one is called Octopus Garden. I am pretty happy with how it came out, though I think you need to see it in person to appreciate it. The dark turquoise blue is very vivid and the subtle coloring on the octopus is hard to pick up on in photographs.
