I am pleased to announce that my artwork "Lusus Naturae (Loch Ness Monster)" was awarded Second Prize tonight at the reception for "Fairytales, Fables and Fantasy" at the
Art Association of Harrisburg in Pennsylvania.
According to juror Carrie Breschi: "Brilliant use of materials to compose a fun and energetic piece. The lines were so masterful on the dragon that it was placed in the drawing category" [as opposed to placing in the mixed media award category]"
The show will run through Feb 14 2013.
I was at the opening reception earlier today and took a few photos. Please click on an image to enlarge.

Seriously not the best photo photo of me as I look like I am two steps away from gnawing on someone's brains but it's the only photo I have of me in front of my award-winning artwork. So deal with the zombie face! ;) |

The opening reception was quite crowded and featured over 125 artworks from regional artists. |
