Latest Artwork: The Bird of Truth
I finally finished up my artwork "The Bird of Truth" earlier today. Inspired by a Spanish myth, "The Bird of Truth" measures 16 x 20 inches and is mixed media on Aquabord.
I had a bit of a mishap last night and some of the painting got smeared when I was working on it and I had recreate the left hand side bird and tree branches. Then I went over everything again this afternoon so that the right hand side and middle matched the left hand side better. I think all is squared away now! ;)
These photos were taken before I applied a clear glossy glaze / varnish over top of the panel to seal / protect the final artwork as well as to enhance the colors.
I'm thinking of submitting the artwork to a themed gallery show later this year.
