I worked some more on my new artwork, Autumnal II last night. At this stage I am mostly working with graphite, colored pencils and some oil pastel highlights. I am really liking working on the extra fine art boards - they are fabulous for any kind of pencil work.Their only drawback is they are a lot of heavier to work with than wood panels.

This is some paper that I've prepared to use as the basis of the mosaics in the piece after I finish working on the background. They've been stained with a combination of inks, teas, coffees and / or red wine. |
