Upcoming October Art Showcases
October 3, 2008 | First Friday Group Art Show at 1225 Shackamaxon St., Philadelphia, PA (First block north of Girard Avenue in Fishtown). Part of an Open House event by Weichert Realtors for Shackamaxon Court Condominiums. 5:30 to 8:30 PM. I will be showcasing four works for this event, one of them brand new.
October 4 through November 2, 2008 | Group art show organized that I organized at Mugshots Cafe, 110 Cotton Street. Philadelphia, PA 19127. Just off Main Street in Manayunk; 215.482.3964. This will be part of the Philadelphia Open Studio Tours event. The show will also include artist Joe Castro and photographer Matt Romano. Artist Reception is held on Oct. 11 from 2 to 4 PM. Lynnette will be showcasing four brand new works for this event.
Below are two new works that will be on display:
The Greyhound, 19” x 25”, colored pencils, marker and paint on brown watercolor paper.
Thunderbird, 19” x 25”, pen and ink and metallic paint on grey watercolor paper.
