Myspace Find Of The Day: Factor Burzaco
Gotta love Myspace: while the radio airwaves are shilling junk music for the most part, you can still find some great, interesting music on Myspace, even if you have to wade through a of not-so-great band profiles to find it. Case in point: Argentinian band Factor Burzaco.
Although I can't read their profile as it's in Spanish, they seem to cite such inluences as King Crimson, Henry Cow, Debussy, Berio, Ligeti and Gentle Giant. The previews they have on their page sound like a mix of 20th century classical mixed with progressive rock, RIO, and dissonant female vocals. Me likee! I snooped around and found their debut available on Wayside Music. Click here for album info.
